Azerbaijan, ‘The Land of Fire’ was never on my list of destinations to visit. I would never have known what I was missing if I had not visited this spectacular country and had not met the friendly and welcoming Azerbaijanis.
The country is rich in oil, gas, architecture, history, and culture. Due to the boom in the tourism industry the country is no longer a small dot on the world map.
Azerbaijan is a complete package. It has many tourist sites, some even included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, amazing architecture, a dynamic nightlife, live musical concerts, reasonable shopping, and if you are there during the summer months then don’t forget to add a few nights at one of the beach resorts. So plan your next trip to this incredible country and make some new memorie

Stay a few nights in Baku.
Spend a whole day discovering Baku by visiting the Highland Park, Seaside Park (Baku Boulevard), Shirvanshahs Palace, Maiden Tower, and Juma Mosque.
Visit the Heydar Aliyev Center and Flame Towers.
Take a half-day tour to visit the Ateshgah Temple, Yanardag (burning mountain), and Gala Outdoor Museum
Take a full-day tour and visit Shamakhi, visit Juma Mosque, Diri Baba, Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, and the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory.
Spend a whole day at Fountain Square and Nizami Street – walking, shopping, and trying different foods.
